How it Works: Step by Step
1. Find a Feed
In your favorite web browser, visit the website you would like to subscribe to. Typically if the website has a feed available, the address bar will have a feed icon in it. Even if there is no feed icon, we may be able to find a feed on the page. To check, simply enter the website address into Feed My Inbox and we'll search for feeds there.
2. Subscribe
Type the feed or website URL into Feed My Inbox, along with your email address. If we find more than one feed on the page, you will have the opportunity to select which feed(s) you want to subscribe to.
Tip:
Subscribing is even easier with the bookmarklet. You can add new feeds without leaving the website you are on!
3. Confirmation Link
We send a confirmation email for each website you subscribe to. Click the enclosed link to confirm that you do own the email address and would like to receive updates from the feed.
Upon clicking the confirmation link and confirming your subscription, you can expect your first update in about 24 hours.
4. Receiving Emails
By default, and with all free accounts, email updates come as a daily digest. This means that whether there is 1 entry in the feed or 10, you get one email per day with all the entries. If there is nothing new in the feed, you will not receive an email. All paid accounts have the option of daily or real-time notifications. Below is what an email from Feed My Inbox typically looks like:
